Welcome to my Astronomy Homepage. I live in Chesterland,Ohio which is around thirty miles east of Cleveland,Ohio. I got interested in Astronomy in college when I saw Saturn through a small telescope. I enjoy playing the guitar and a couple buddies and I play at some local spots. I'm a real Neil Young fan so you will hear his music throughout my site. Well let's get down to it.

I purchased my first computer controlled telescope in 1996. It was a twelve inch Meade LX200. I soon realized that to get full use of the telescope I would need to have it permanently housed in a building. In 1998 I purchased a ten foot Homedome from Technical Innovations. That year I built my current setup. A ten foot Homedome with a nine foot square warm room next to it . I have installed "Digiatl Domeworks" so now I controll all equipment from my warmroom computer. I now can setup on an object and leave ( go to bed) while the scope is slaved to the slot of the dome the entire evening.

In 2003 I donated my twelve inch LX200 to my astronomy club ( Chagrin valley Astronomical; Society, CVAS   when I purchased my current fourteen inch LX200. In 2004 I purchased a Takahashi FSQ 106N which is now piggybacked on my fourteen inch. Most of my images were taken with my first CCD camera which was the Meade Pictor 416XTE which I purchased in 1999. Click on the images to enlarge them and most will have comments explaining the equipment used. Enjoy the images .
